Our job is to mitigate risk factors and set the conditions for your trade mission success
Export Trade
International Trade and Export
According to the Office of the United States Trade Representative, 95% of the world's consumers live outside the United States. Marketing your products or services to the global market has significant potential benefits and should not be a confusing or intimidating process provided that you take the appropriate steps to avoid unnecessary risks.
Many states, such as Pennsylvania and Virginia, have excellent export support programs. If your business is in Virginia you have significant resources at your disposal through Virginia's Economic Development Partnership. VEDP provides businesses with research, subsidized trade mission support, and fully vetted potential training partners who may have need of your product or service (to name only a few services). One of Northern Virginia's International Trade representatives is Jenee Andreev (JAndreev@yesvirginia.org). So in states such as the great states of Virginia and Pennsylvania our intent is to provide complementary services to those provided by the State.
At Turck Strategic Communication LLC, we utilize multi-functional export teams that include former ambassadors, export compliance experts and, if necessary, market research experts for markets not currently covered by state programs. Our Ambassador team can augment your trade mission by expanding your access while in country. They can provide you with area risk analysis and detailed by country political risk analysis. Most significantly, should you experience difficulty in-country, they will help you resolve your difficulties quickly and with the utmost discretion.
Our compliance experts are essential in minimizing any risk exposure related to export compliance regulations. Additionally they can provide training and/or seminars to help your company establish and/or improve its export program. They maintain life-long relationships with highly qualified and fully vetted Freight Forwarders, and US Customs Brokers.
